Free Rapid Antigen Tests priority for high-risk community members from South Gippsland Council
Free community Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) Program for priority and high-risk community members.
If you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, please do not collect RATs until you are well. If you can't get to a location, a guardian or carer can collect your free RATs for you.
You are eligible to collect RATs if you are 70 years or older, a Concession Card holder or person with a disability, immunocompromised or their carer
Rapid antigen test locations
Free Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) are now available for priority and high-risk community members to collect at the following locations:
South Gippsland Shire Council Reception
- 9 Smith St, Leongatha VIC 3953
Foster Library
- 9 Main St, Foster VIC 3960
Poowong Library
- 18 Ranceby Rd, Poowong VIC 3988
Mirboo North Library
- 2 Brennan St, Mirboo North VIC 3871
Korumburra Library
- 165 Commercial St, Korumburra VIC 3950
Leongatha Library
- 2 Smith St, Leongatha VIC 3953
Please show your concession, Seniors or disability card to staff to collect your free RATs or let them know you are 70 years or older or immunocompromised.
RATs in other Gippsland councils
Latrobe City Council is also giving away free Rapid Antigen Test (RATs) for eligible Victorians.You can now collect your Rapid Antigen Tests from libraries at Moe, Morwell, Churchill and Traralgon. You are eligible if you are aged 70 and older, have a disability, are immunocompromised, or are a carer or holding a Seniors, Pensioner Concession, Commonwealth Senior Health Care, Health Care, Low Income Health Care, or Department of Veterans Affairs Gold, White or Orange card.
