The Department of Sustainability and Environment is addressing the issue of increased wild dog activity as a result of the bushfires through the Gippsland Agricultural Recovery Program.

A priority of the Agricultural Recovery Program has been to focus on wild dog trapping and baiting programs in fire affected areas. DSE staff will be available to distribute predator (wild dog) baits at the conclusion of each meeting.

Normal application processes will apply for baiting.
