Many issues were raised, including the Cape Paterson sub-division, roads and foreshore management.
"The evening was full of robust discussion about many issues," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council. "It was fantastic to see such a large turn out of local people who are very passionate about the issues affecting their area."
Bass Coast Shire Council holds community forums on the second Wednesday of every second month at a different location throughout the Shire. The forums provide an opportunity for the community to talk with Councillors and Council staff in an informal setting. The next community forum will be held at the Rhyll Hall on 12 February 2003.
