Gippsland It Skills AuditWith this kind of information we will be able to influence the region By GREEN Inc. - 1st May 2002 - Back to News •Tell us your opinion •See what others have said Gippsland Regional Economy & Ecology Network (GREEN Inc) is busy processing data from returned surveys. However, GREEN Inc would like to urge all Gippsland businesses who received surveys in the mail to please complete them and return by Friday 17th May 2002.
During the last 3 weeks approx. 5000 companies were sent Gippsland Information Technology Skills Audit Surveys. The purpose of these surveys is to assess the ICT skill levels within the Gippsland business community.
Following on from there we are looking for "knowledge gaps". With this kind of information in hand, we will be able to influence the region’s decision and policy makers (in education, business, governments, etc) so that Gippsland’s future can be enhanced and secured. We’d like to create an atmosphere where future jobs and prospects along with viable businesses will keep our school leavers and university graduates here in Gippsland.
So, with this in mind, please help contribute to our future by returning your completed surveys to GREEN Inc by 17th May. If you did not receive any surveys, but would like to contribute, copies can be obtained by phoning Roberta on 03.5122 6113, or can be printed from our web site – greeninc.com.au
