On Friday 31 March from 4pm, Own Life will spread skateboarding awesomeness with an event at the Morwell Skate Park. Young people of all ages and skill levels can attend to get skateboarding lessons and to take part in fun competitions.

Skateboards and safety gear will be provided. Register on the day – the event is free.

Later, at 8.30pm, grab your blanket and head down to the Tarwin Street Pop-up Park to watch ‘Eddie the Eagle’ at the outdoor cinema. The PG rated film tells the inspirational story of Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, a British ski jumper who qualified for the 1988 Winter Olympics and won the hearts of the world. The movie also stars Australia’s Hugh Jackman.

These events are drug and alcohol free and are a part of the State Government’s National Youth Week.
