Council Meeting Round-Up: 31 July 2017
Some of the decisions made by Council at their Ordinary Meeting on Monday 31 July.

Agreed to coordinate a working party of representatives from Council, Public Transport Victoria, Committee for Moe, Moe Traders Association and Moe Taxis to examine concerns related to the bus routes and stops in Moe, parking in Moe CBD and the George Street taxi rank.
Agreed to enter into a 20-year lease with Optus Mobile for part of Northern Reserve Newborough.
Requested a report into the identified road drainage and parking issues at Northern Reserve Newborough.
Endorsed submission to DELWP re proposed reforms in relation to public and shared housing within the Victorian Planning Provisions.
Referred the Yinnar and District Community Association’s request for funding to buy a sculpture to the end of financial year budget process.
Appointed 10 representatives to the Cultural Diversity Advisory Committee.
Agreed to dismantle the Pop Up Park in Tarwin Street, Morwell as soon as practical.
Agreed to give notice to consider entering into to a 20-year lease with the Yinnar Bowls Club for part of Crown Allotment 57.
Decisions and reports
Deferred a decision to undertake the process to officially rename the southern section of Bradys Road, Tyers to Russell Road, Tyers
Agreed to sell the land at the rear of properties in Short St and Shakespeare St, Traralgon to Parklane Estate Pty Ltd.
Adopted the Unreasonable Behaviour and Demands Policy.
Received and noted the Assemblies of Councillor records.
Received and noted the report on contract variations and contracts.
