Wednesday’s Churchill Community Meeting Moved To BinishellHigh levels of public interest in Wednesday’s public meeting concerning development proposals for the township of Churchill, has prompted a change of venue from the By Latrobe City - 13th February 2007 - Back to News Churchill Football and Netball Club to the Monash University Binishell. The meeting will still commence at 6pm.
Latrobe City is convening the public meeting on behalf of the Churchill and District Association, and representatives from the developers concerned have been invited to address the meeting with their proposals.
Latrobe City’s chief executive officer, Paul Buckley, said indications were that the meeting would be exceptionally well attended. "Although it is very late notice, we believe the level of interest is such that the meeting will be need to be held in a larger venue than that first selected.
"Over the next twenty-four hours we will attempt to convey news of this change of venue to as many people in the community as possible, so that there is minimal inconvenience to those affected," Mr Buckley said.
