Gelantipy And Buchan Residents Get The Chance To Chat

The chance to chat with Councillors and senior staff of the East Gippsland Shire Council will be offered to Buchan, Gelantipy and other nearby residents next Saturday, 4 December.

By East Gippsland Shire Council - 29th November 2004 - Back to News

Two ‘Community Consultations’ will be held to discuss any community concerns, ideas and opportunities.

The first will start at the Gelantipy Hall at 11.30 am and will be followed by a sausage sizzle.

The Council group will then move on to the Buchan Recreation Reserve Pavilion for a 2.30 pm meeting that will be followed by afternoon tea.

Council CEO Steve Kozlowski said that recent Community Consultations in the Shire’s northeast region had been very productive.

"There were a number of issues we were able to deal with on the spot and other matters that will now receive priority as a result of the discussions," he said.

"I would urge anyone in Gelantipy and Buchan who have matters they would like to bring to our attention to join us on Saturday."
