Restrictions lifted at Hazelwood Pondage
Following increase to water levels at the Hazelwood Pondage Latrobe City Council - the waterway manager for the Hazelwood Pondage – in conjunction with Transport Safety Victoria advises that current usage restrictions will be lifted.
Restrictions which were introduced to ensure the safety of all users were removed as of 11 April 2017 at 9am. This means that the five knot speed restriction on the entire waterway will be lifted, with the northern boat ramp open to public access.Latrobe City Council thanks the community and users for their understanding and adherence to the usage restrictions over past months.
