Awards For Those Who Make A Difference The Nationals member for Morwell Russell Northe has encouraged individuals, businesses, and community groups in the Latrobe Valley to nominate for this years Victorian Regional Achievement and Community Awards. By Russell Northe - 20th May 2011 - Back to News "The Victorian Regional Achievement and Community Awards highlight, acknowledge and reward the valuable contribution individuals, businesses and community groups make towards building a strong local community," Mr Northe said.
"I encourage you to nominate an individual or a group you know that deserves recognition for their commitment and community contribution. These people make a huge different in our region through their hard work, dedication and innovation."
Nominations are now open in the following categories:
Regional Development Victoria Business Achievement Award
Parks Victoria Environment and Sustainability Award
BlueScope Distribution Leadership and Innovation Award

Regional Development Victoria Trade and Career Achievement Award

"Great prizes are on offer including a share in $16,000 in Goalsaver Accounts from the Commonwealth Bank and airtime packages on Prime Television.
"Our local achievers deserve acknowledgement and recognition, and I encourage everyone to consider making a nomination," Mr Northe said.
Nominations close Wednesday 13th July 2011 and winners will be announced at a Gala Awards Presentation Dinner to be held on Saturday 15th October 2011.
