Stallholders wanted for 2017 Latrobe City Council Federation Training Children’s Expo
Latrobe City Council is calling for stallholders for the 2017 Latrobe City Council Federation Training Children’s Expo, with early bird booking prices available until the end of July.
Latrobe City Council’s mayor, Councillor Kellie O’Callaghan, said the annual event attracted thousands of visitors keen to connect with early years service providers."The Expo is a great opportunity for parents and care-givers to access information and services, whilst the children have great fun with the many activities on the program.
"This year’s event will be a twilight Expo which will bring new opportunities and appeal to a larger audience. We know that our local families find this event particularly useful in terms of meeting directly with Latrobe City Council’s maternal and child health team, preschools team, find out about immunisations and our other early years’ services, as well as other agencies and businesses.
"The new hours will open up the event to parents who work, or whose children are in preschool or the early years of primary school to attend," Cr O’Callaghan said.
Cr O’Callaghan said she was also pleased to partner with Federation Training, once again, as the major sponsor for the 2017 event.
"Federation Training’s commitment to education – in this instance the education and development of our municipality’s smallest students is to be applauded. They recognise the importance of providing a positive, healthy and safe learning environment where children can thrive.
Federation Training’s Education Manager, Carol Riley, said it was exciting to be on board for this year’s event.
"Federation Training is pleased to once again be involved in the Children’s Expo.
Having sponsored the event for the past three years, we know how successful this event is, with great attendance numbers and support from the local community.
"We look forward to attending the event again this year and showcasing our diverse range of courses, whilst also providing a fun and interactive display for the kids! I would encourage local businesses to get involved by booking a stall at the 2017 Latrobe City Children’s Expo," Ms Riley said.
The Latrobe City Council Federation Training Children’s Expo will take place on Thursday 26 October from 2pm to 7pm at Kernot Hall. Early bird bookings for stall holders are open now until 31 July.
