Help Make Someone’s SummerCalling volunteers to make someone's summer an amazing and unforgettable one! By Portal Admin - 4th February 2020 - Back to News The Bass Coast Disabled Surfer's Association events for 2020 are fast approaching! As always, they are calling out for volunteers to help make the day amazing and ensure all participants have an unforgettable experience.
There are two events coming up at Inverloch Surf Beach:
- Saturday 15 February from 11am - 2pm
- Saturday 28 March from 11am - 2pm
Bass Coast DSA Volunteer Coordinator, Fabio Contu, explained that there are volunteer roles for people of all ages and abilities.
"There’s so much to do on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly. From the registration table, to beach marshalling, to catering and then of course being in the water and helping participants to have an awesome surf," Fabio said.
"We are encouraging everyone and anyone to come on down, give us a hand, and help make someone’s summer extra special."
