The Internet can seem like a very daunting adventure to those among us with no Internet experience. Believe it or not, there are still many people out there who could not give you an accurate explanation of the Internet, let alone understand how to use it to their best advantage.
However, there is hope! The University of Albany (located in New York, USA) has compiled a comprehensive tutorial system that outlines each of the commonly used features of the Internet and explains in common terms how to go about doing them. All of the everyday Internet functions are covered: connecting up, researching, search engines, browsers and software. Simply read the descriptions below, and when you find something that you are interested in learning about, click on the link to visit the page and find out more!

2 Dec -17 Hi, I recently came across a link on your site which appears to be broken. Here's the link http://library.albany.edu/internet/deepweb.html, "The Deep Web", found on this page of your site http://gippsland.com/news/old/2764.htm?init=1&iParentID=2243. I wondered if you might take a look at our guide https://www.comparitech.com/blog/vpn-privacy/how-to-access-the-deep-web-and-darknet/ as it may make a suitable replacement. Best, Joel
