E-learning Parents Course

GippsTAFE’s Community Access Department is offering a new course called "E-learning Parents" in term 4, for people wishing to extend their computer knowledge.

By GippsTAFE - 2nd October 2003 - Back to News

The course enables students to learn some internet basics, such as finding information on favourite hobbies or movies, how to use an email account and also gives participants the opportunity to extend their MS Word and Publisher skills.

The course also gives a guided tour of GippsTAFE and access to course and career advice.

A certificate is awarded at the conclusion of the course and there are no formal entry requirements.

Classes will be conducted on Wednesdays from 1.00pm-3.30pm throughout Term 4, beginning on Wednesday 8 October.

GippsTAFE’s Community Access Centre can help students improve their education, learn new skills and make new friends, giving students the choice to re-enter or continue their education in a non-threatening way.

For more information on the "E-learning Parents" course, please contact Linda Harris or Bob Farnaby at the Access Department on 5127 0277.
