Great prizes on offer with free holiday reading club for local kids!

All Wellington kids are invited to join the fun and excitement being offered this winter school holidays through the Winter Reading Club and holiday activity program at your Wellington Shire library it’s free and there are plenty of prizes to win!

From 20 June until 1 August 2005, all kids need to do is get down to their local library and join-up to receive their reading record. Then for each reading milestone they reach, they will get a prize – five books earn you a sticker and 10 books you get a Wuppie, a certificate, and are entered into a prize-draw to for winter fun prizes.

Then it’s time to get active with our one-day winter sport events at each of our library branches! Children can get along to their local library in their favourite sport team’s colours and play heaps of games with sports themes. There will also be sports stories and a special take-home activity to make!
