Bass Coast Shire Council Trials Ticket Vending Machine For Newhaven Boat Ramp

A ticket-vending machine is being trialled at the Newhaven boat ramp by Bass Coast Shire Council.

By Bass Coast Shire Council - 5th April 2007 - Back to News

Bass Coast’s Environment Manager, Paul Smith, said that the vending machine will provide boat ramp users with convenient access to day tickets.

"Planning ahead to purchase a boat ramp pass from retail outlets is a common frustration of many boat ramp users. Particularly for those who like to get an early morning start," Mr Smith said.

"With a 24 hour a day vending machine in the car park of the Newhaven boat ramp, access to tickets will be easier than ever.

The vending machine will be available for use from Easter for a 3 month trial period.

The trial in Newhaven will be a first for the Shire.
