Nominations Now Open For The Telstra Business Womenˇ¦S Award Nominations are now open for the Telstra Business Womenˇ¦s Awards and Member for Morwell Russell Northe has encouraged local businesswomen to nominate. By Russell Northe - 23rd April 2013 - Back to News Mr Northe said the awards promote and recognise local businesswomen whose inspiration, determination and innovation has led to success.
ˇ§Awards are open to business owners and women in the private or corporate sector and government and community sector,ˇ¨ Mr Northe said.
ˇ§There are awards that specifically target business innovation and successful young businesswomen.ˇ¨
Award categories include:
„h Business Owner Award
„h Private and Corporate Sector Award
„h Community and Government Award
Specialist categories
„h Business Innovation Award
„h Young Business Womenˇ¦s Award
„h State/Territory Awards
„h National Awards
ˇ§As well as business promotion and the satisfaction of being recognised by your peers, there are significant networking opportunities in being named as a finalist and winners will share in more than $250,000 in cash and prizes,ˇ¨ Mr Northe said
To be eligible to enter the 2013 Telstra Business Womenˇ¦s Awards, you must meet the following criteria:
„h You are a woman who is living in Australia and is either an Australian citizen or has Australian residency status.
„h You are not an employee of Telstra, a sponsor of the Telstra Business Womenˇ¦s Awards, a judge or direct supplier of
„h You have not been involved in the judging of the Telstra Business Awards in 2012
„h If entering the Business Owner Award, your business must have been operating for at least 36 months as at Sunday June 30
„h If entering the Young Business Womenˇ¦s Award, you will be aged 34 years or younger as at Sunday 30 June 2013
„h You were not an Award winner or finalist in the 2011 or 2012 Telstra Business Womenˇ¦s Award
