Funding Available For Australia Day Activities

Community groups throughout the Shire are invited to apply for funding to hold Australia Day activities in 2003

"We’re keen to encourage a variety of events throughout the Shire," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council

"Australia Day events can be any size, from a sausage sizzle to a concert," said Cr Gains. "They must be held on Sunday 26 January and be organised by a community group in Bass Coast Shire."

Application forms for funding are available at any of Council’s offices, by calling (03) 5671 2211 or (03) 5951 3311 or on Council’s website at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au
