Still Time To Have Your Say About The Future Of Bass Coast

Hundreds of people have already completed a survey about what they would like to see for the future of their local area.

Hundreds of people have already completed a survey about what they would like to see for the future of their local area. The ideas and suggestions in the surveys will be used to develop a community plan for Bass Coast Shire. Council and the community will implement the community vision and ideas over the next ten years.

"Great ideas are flowing in thick and fast with hundreds of surveys already returned to Council," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council. "The next step is for people to attend one of the community plan meetings that will be held throughout the Shire over the next fortnight."

Cr Gains said that the meetings will be an opportunity for people to view and discuss the draft community plan and the ideas that had arisen so far.

"I encourage people to attend the meeting that is held closest to where they live, because the issues discussed will be specific to their local area," said Cr Gains. "This is your opportunity to influence the future by putting forward your thoughts and ideas about the future of your local area."

Community plan meetings will be held at the following locations and dates.
