Latrobe City Pound
Item 9.1 | Time of decision: 0.47.53

Council requested a report be provided outlining options for alternative service models for the provision of animal management including options for the pound to be operated by an external party, opportunities for volunteers, a new site and a cost estimate.

Asbestos Disposal
Item 10.1 | Time of decision: 0.52.03

Alternate motion: Deferred making a decision on planning permit application 2017/242 for the use and development of land for industry (refuse disposal – private asbestos disposal) and alteration of access to a Road Zone Category 1 at 412 Commercial Road, Morwell (Lot 2 on Plan of Subdivision 449983A) to allow further time for all parties to fully consider the use of the approved asbestos landfill cell associated with the proposed demolition of the Hazelwood Power Station, to be also used to store asbestos associated with the Morwell Power Station demolition.

Traralgon Skate Park Petition

Council resolved to allocate $25,000 towards the development of a feasibility study for a Youth Activity Precinct in Traralgon.

Petition re: removal of trees in Staff Street, Moe

The petition was tabled until the 3 September meeting.

Broadcast of Council Meeting
Item 17.2 | Time of decision: 1.13.29

Council agreed to continue to broadcast Council meetings and investigate alternative methods of broadcast to enhance the viewer’s experience.

CCTV Surveillance
Item 17.3 | Time of decision: 1.18.06

Council agreed to delegate to the CEO the power to authorise the installation of CCTV at Council-owned land and sites
