2007 Latrobe Regional Gallery Program ReleasedThe Latrobe Regional Gallery has released its 2007 calendar of events. By Latrobe City Council - 22nd February 2007 - Back to News Latrobe Regional Gallery director, Jacquie Hemsley, said the calendar has been designed as a colourful and exciting poster presenting all of the gallery’s exhibitions and public programs on one easy layout for easy reference.
"Highlights of the gallery’s program this year include a contemplative exhibition that will place you directly in the heavens, a tranquil installation of a mandala (sand painting) made by Tibetan monks in the gallery and the Ranamok Glass prize, which showcases Australia and New Zealand’s finest contemporary glass artists," Jacqui explained.
Those people who would like to receive a copy of the program and join the gallery’s mailing list, are invited to contact the gallery on 5128 5700 or e-mail lrg@latrobe.vic.gov.au.
The Latrobe Regional Gallery is open 7 days, Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am – 4pm. Admission is free.
