Inverloch Design Framework Update

The draft Inverloch Design Framework will be on display in January

By Carol McCormack - 11th December 2002 - Back to News

The draft Inverloch Design Framework will be on display in January rather than December as was originally planned. The display of the framework plan has been delayed due to more time being needed to sift through and consider the many issues put forward by members of the community over the past months.

"We’re delighted with the number of ideas and comments we’ve received from the community at large," said Sue Porter, Project Officer. "However, it’s taking more time than we originally planned to put it all together into the draft document."

The Inverloch Design Framework Project will establish a vision about how development and land uses will be managed in the future, and a framework for achieving that vision.

The draft framework will be on display from late January till early March 2003 at Council offices and the Inverloch Library. People already on the project mailing list will be notified of the dates, and adverts will be placed in local papers.

"When the draft framework goes on display we’ll be seeking input from the community again," said Sue.

People who would like to be put on the project mailing list or who would like further details of the project can contact Sue Porter on 5671 2211 or 5951 3311 or email s.porter@basscoast.vic.gov.au
