The Poetry Of Life Comes To Latrobe Regional GalleryMythology, spirituality and transformation are explored in Cheryl Osborne’s exhibition, A Celebration. The Poetry of Life, currently on show at the Community Access Gallery, Latrobe Regional Gallery. By Latrobe City - 23rd April 2013 - Back to News Latrobe City Council’s arts director, Julie Adams, said that the artist drew her inspiration from her personal experiences and dreams mixed with her interest in science and psychology.
"Cheryl’s selection of paintings and works on paper feature an energetic technique using layering of broad, gestural marks. Through her work Cheryl aims to convey ideas of peace and harmony," Ms Adams explained.
"She has recently completed a Masters of Visual Arts at the Gippsland Centre of Art and Design, Monash University Gippsland and has exhibited locally and internationally," Ms Adams concluded.
A Celebration. The Poetry of Life is on exhibition until 28 April. Entry to the gallery is free.
