Students from Stockdale Road Primary School in Traralgon hear Darren Chester discuss his political role and answer questionsDuring a visit to Stockdale Road Primary School, Darren Chester, the Federal Member for Gippsland, engaged in a unique Question Time session with Grade 6 students, discussing various topics in a respectful manner. By news@gippsland - 16th June 2023 - Back to News Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester experienced Question Time with a difference during a visit to Stockdale Road Primary School in Traralgon. Mr Chester discussed his role as a local politician and fielded dozens of questions from interested Grade 6 students. 
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester with Stockdale Road Primary School Captains Wil Jones, Lacey Ross and Marley Neave and Teacher, Demi Godenzi Mr Chester said, "There were plenty of topics covered from local timber jobs through to the voice to Parliament and my hobbies away from work. It was terrific to spend some time with the students and it was certainly more respectful than the Question Time I normally experience in Canberra.
