Below is a snapshot of some of the decisions made by Council at their Ordinary Meeting on Monday 11 July 2016.

Decisions

City of Traralgon Band

Council will support an officer liaison for the City of Traralgon Band and request the CEO to develop a protocol or policy which identifies when Council should appoint a Council representative to an organisation. This comes after the City of Traralgon Band requested a Council representative be appointed to it.

Old Sale Road, Newborough

Council lay a petition requesting roadworks on Old Sale Road, Newborough on the table to allow officers to prepare a report and present it at another ordinary council meeting.

CCTV at 135 Argyle Street

Council approved the installation of CCTV at 135 Argyle Street Traralgon to allow Latrobe City Local Laws officers to conduct an investigation into unwanted dumping of recyclable material.

Hydrotherapy Program

Council will continue the hydrotherapy program at Latrobe Leisure Moe Newborough on Sundays until a report is presented to Council in early 2017.
