Heritage Victoria Funding AvailableThe Nationals Member for Eastern Victoria Region, PETER HALL, today encouraged local historical societies, local councils and community based organisations to apply for Victoria’s Heritage Grants for 2007. By Peter Hall - 24th July 2007 - Back to News Mr Hall said, "This grants program supports the State heritage strategy Victoria’s Heritage: Strengthening our communities.
Applications are invited for the following categories:
- Repair and conservation of heritage places and objects;
- Interpretation of heritage places and objects;
- Local Government heritage studies and advice; and
- Community collections management.
Details of the of the eligibility and selection criteria, as well as the application process can be obtained from www.heritage.vic.gov.au or by phoning Heritage Victoria on 9637 9475
Applications close Friday 31 August 2007.
