The product type is labeled ‘Canned Tuna With Satay Sauce’, distributed by Safcol. The products have been distributed in Victoria through all major retail chains such as Coles, Safeway and Franklins.
The brand name is SAFCOL Asian Kitchen which is packed in a ring-pull 95gm can. All production codes are being recalled.
The product is recalled due to it not conforming to the Food Standards Code. The product has higher than accepted levels of aflatoxins.
The product has been removed from sale. If any member of the public has a can of the tuna, they are advised to return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
