Orbost Outdoor Pool opens 2023/24 season with swim lessons, fitness classes, season passes and free entry on FridaysOrbost Outdoor Pool welcomes the season with exciting offerings, including swim lessons, fitness classes, and season passes. By news@gippsland - 1st November 2023 - Back to News Orbost Outdoor Pool opens today, Wednesday 1 November, with a splashing line-up of exciting offerings for the season. Ten-day Intensive Swim Lessons begin on Monday, November 20 and run until Friday, December 1. Instructors will help enhance swimmers' strokes and water safety skills during these 30-minute lessons. Registrations are due before November 6 and can be completed on the Lakes Entrance Aquadome website. The cost for lessons is $120. 
Orbost Outdoor Pool kicks off the season with exciting swim lessons, fitness classes, Orbost Outdoor Pool team is also looking forward to a big crowd at the Open Day on 2 December 2 Aquatic fitness classesThe East Gippsland Shire Council facility is offering group fitness classes from Tuesday, November 14 for four weeks. On Tuesdays, a mini triathlon class is offered at 7.30 am, followed by a 9.00 am Strength and Cardio class. On Saturdays, they'll be teaching Aqua Aerobics at 11.00 am, and Pilates will begin at 12.00 pm. Sign up for these classes at the pool. Each class is $15.40, with a concession rate of $13.70. Bring a friend and you will both receive 20 per cent off the class price. Starting Wednesday, November 8, Aqua Playgroup will run on Wednesday mornings from 9.30 to 10.30 am. For patrons wanting to enjoy the pool more often, season passes are available for $121 for adults, $102.90 for students/children/concession and family passes are $261. Shared pool accessMayor Cr Tom Crook said the benefits of season passes has been expanded with passholders able to enjoy three centres. "We have introduced reciprocal arrangements with our pools this season. People who buy a season pass at Orbost Outdoor Pool will also be able to use the indoor aquatic facilities at Lakes Entrance Aquadome and Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre," Cr Crook said. Call Lakes Entrance Aquadome on 03 5155 3333 to purchase passes over the phone, or purchase in person at Orbost Outdoor Pool. Free Entry Fridays are available every Friday from 3pm until close at Orbost, Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale pools. The Orbost Outdoor Pool team is also looking forward to a big crowd at the Open Day on Saturday, December 2 where entry will be free all day.
