Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Rewarding Leaders In Business InnovationThe Australian Museum Eureka Prizes have been profiling and rewarding outstanding Australian science since 1990. The Prizes have become Australia's premier and most widely publicised science awards. By Australian Museum Eureka Prizes - 8th April 2005 - Back to News This year, there are a record 23 prizes covering many areas of science including research, education, science communication, leadership and innovation.
The Australian Museum Eureka Prize for Leadership in Business Innovation is a new prize designed to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding leadership by an Australian individual in business innovation.
The winner of this inaugural award will be recognised as one of the best business leaders in Australia and has the potential for extensive national media exposure for themselves, their organisation and their work. The winner also achieves immortality by having a newly discovered species named after them through the Australian Museum's Immortals Program.
