Popular author to talk teensWellington Shire Council’s Library Service is presenting a series of free presentations by popular author, Robert Corbet titled ‘Inside a Teenagers Head’ as part of the State Library’s Writers on the Road series. By Wellington Shire Council - 6th September 2004 - Back to News His energetic and inspiring presentations - which will take place on 14 & 15 September - are aimed at teenagers, parents and those interested in writing novels, and focus on writing technique and development of teenage characters.
One evening session is open to the public and will be held at the Maffra Library from 7.00pm until 8.00pm on Tuesday 14 September. Robert Corbet will also be holding five pre-booked workshops with year 10 students from secondary schools from across Wellington.
Robert is a full-time writer and has been a guitarist in a Koori reggae band, an English teacher and has spent time working with inner-city street kids.
