Wellington Walk to Work WeekWellington Shire Council is inviting the community to get involved with Walk to Work Week from 5 to 12 November. By Wellington Shire Council - 3rd November 2004 - Back to News Walk to Work Week is an initiative of the Pedestrian Council of Australia, and supported by Wellington Shire Council and Gippsport, and encourages the whole community to select a day from 5 to 12 November to walk to work or school.
This event complements National Walk to Work Day on 5 November - an annual, national initiative of the Federal Government designed to promote a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle.
