Petitions
Waterside Drive Crystal Waters, Drouin
Council tabled a petition of 181 signatories seeking that Council amend the Baw Baw Shire Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) to stop the extension of Waterside Drive as a connector road. An Officer response will now be tabled within four Council Meetings' time.
Planning and development
PLA0209/22 - 27 Main Neerim Road, Drouin
Council issued a notice of decision to grant a permit for planning application PLA0209/22.
Economic development and advocacy
Creative Communities Strategy 2023-2029
Council endorsed the Creative Communities Strategy 2023-2029 and acknowledged and noted the community feedback received.
Strategy and performance
Community Satisfaction Survey Results 2023
Council noted the results of the Community Satisfaction Survey 2023 and published the results of the survey on the Council website.
Governance and services
Council noted the biannual Audit and Risk Committee Chair Report.
H2:Notices of Motion
1 & 2 AIDC Course Requests - Councillor Firdous and Councillor Tauru
There were two notices of motion, for Councillors Firdous and Tauru, to complete the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
Request for consideration of land for the Warragul Men's Shed
Councillor Goss raised a notice of motion requesting a report to Council by 25 October 2023 which details options for a new building premises for the group known as the Warragul Men's Shed. Several Councillors spoke in favour of this motion.
Council meetings
Baw Baw Shire Council Council Meetings are open to the public and are held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre, beginning at 5:30pm All Council meetings will be live-streamed, and archived recordings will be available on the Council website for viewing. The agenda for the next meeting will be available online the Friday prior to the meeting.
