Anyone is welcome to attend the event, at Sale’s Greenwattle Racecourse, which forms part of the 2004 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. It will kick off at 11.45am with pre-drinks, followed by a three-course feast of premium Wellington cuisine and wines - all accompanied by live entertainment. The lunch will wind-up at 4.00pm.

Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed diner, the best dressed couple and the best hat.

Buses will be available to take diners between downtown Sale and the racecourse.

Said Wellington’s Chief Executive Officer Lyndon Webb: "Building on the success of last year’s lunch we would like to encourage even more local business people and corporations to attend this latest event. It’s a great opportunity to get away from the office and relax with colleagues in a warm and friendly atmosphere."

Tickets are $70 per person and the lunch has been organised jointly by the council, Greenwattle Racecourse and the Wellington Farmers’ Market. For more information and to make bookings please contact Paul Telfer on 5142 3380.
