By Russell Northe - 5th September 2013 - Back to News

Mr Northe said "Whilst the Victorian Small Business festival has officially come to an end, there are a number of important Small Business events being held locally throughout September.

"The seminars will provide information on business growth, the role of the Small Business Commissioner, sustainable offices and online business presence.

Mr Northe said "Small businesses are essential to the state’s economy, contributing around 30 per cent of production and more than 1.2 million jobs.

"Small businesses in Gippsland are critical drivers in our local communities and economies," Mr Northe said. "In regional Victoria, small business is the backbone of local communities and critical to the livelihood of those working in the agribusiness, retail, hospitality, tourism, professional services and construction industries."

"These seminars will provide useful information and resources to small businesses across Gippsland.
