Business owners joined sponsor representatives from The Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Bass Coast Shire Council for the award presentations.

Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Veronica Dowman, said the Best Dressed Business competition, now in its twelfth year, had become an integral part of the Grand Prix celebrations. "The way our community embraces this event and the support it receives from local business, are key factors in making the Grand Prix such a popular event," said Cr Dowman.

"These displays by local businesses really capture the spirit of the event and show the level of support out in the community for the Grand Prix. "Every year, the judges are impressed by the quality of the displays and I think the standard has been lifted again.

Cr Dowman congratulated all the businesses that took part in this year’s competition and thanked the sponsors for their ongoing support. "The Best Dressed Business competition is a great partnership between Council and The Australian Grand Prix Corporation and one that produces some excellent results. "I also want to thank all the business for their efforts and extend my congratulations to all the winners and runners up," said Cr Dowman.
