Honouring Little Jem
Mr Chester said, "Matt and Amy Daly established the Little Jem Foundation, which assists families in Gippsland who experience the sudden loss of a baby or child in loving memory of their daughter Jemma Sue."
"They host an annual fundraising event at Newry Golf Club, but this year, the Little Jem Foundation Fun Run was added in memory of three family members, tragically killed in a plane crash that rocked the community. A small army of volunteers made it possible, led by Linley Bertacchini, who is a family friend and was instrumental in coordinating the fun runs."
"It was very special to be part of the 500 runners and walkers gathering to support such a good cause in memory of three lives taken way too soon, and I hope the families can take some comfort from the love and goodwill that was extended to them. Well done to everyone who helped make the day a huge success," Mr Chester concluded.
