Free demonstrations at libraries on using search engines

With exams and end-of-year assignments just around the corner, Latrobe City Library will be holding demonstration sessions next week focusing on using the Internet for research.

Participants will be shown the basics of internet searching using popular search engines such as Google or AltaVista, finding newspaper and journal articles, as well as finding images.

The sessions are free of charge, and will be held over 3 days from 3:30pm and 5pm, starting with Traralgon Library on Tuesday 4 October, Morwell Library on Wednesday 5 October, and Moe Library on Thursday 6 October.
