The first session, ‘Beginning Family History’ will be held on Sunday 5 November at 3.30pm, and will cover tips and strategies for those people just starting out in their family history journey.

Latrobe City library officer, Claire Wood, said "This session will be of interest to anybody who may be just starting out on the path to learning more about their family’s roots."

The second session, ‘Family History on the web’ will be on Sunday 12 November at 3.30pm, and will be looking at internet sites of value to family historians, including the Ancestry database and the International Genealogical index.

"This may be more suited to those who have already started to research their family history," Ms Wood concluded.

Enquiries and bookings can be made at Traralgon Library on 5176 3630.
