Community meeting for Newry – 13 SeptemberBy Wellington Shire Council - 24th August 2005 - Back to News Residents of Newry and the surrounding area are invited to have their say on council services and issues affecting them when Councillors and senior officers from Wellington Shire Council host their next community meeting in the area on Tuesday 13 September.
The informal meeting starts at 7.00pm and is being held at the Newry Public Hall – providing an ideal opportunity to discuss the future of the area, ask questions or raise any issues of interest or concern to the local community.
Councillors and senior officers visit a number of different localities in Wellington as part of an ongoing process of consultation and communication with everyone who lives in the shire.

After Newry, the next community meeting is at Loch Sport on 13 December.
