Gippsland Strings Festival
Sunday 5th June
Gippsland Grammar School (St Anne Campus) Raymond Street Sale
Australian Strings Association will be holding its first ever Gippsland Strings Festival on this Sunday. This is a one day workshop culminating in an informal concert presentation of music rehearsed during the day. Prominent AUSTA identities from Melbourne will be coming down to Sale to direct and bring fresh faces to the Gippsland String Players
2016 Netball Victoria Association Championships - Eastern
Sunday 5th June
GRSC - Cobains Road Sale
The Netball Victoria Association Championships will enter their 17th year of competition in 2016 and provide more then 220 Victorian Associations the opportunity to compete in Under 13’s, Under 15’s, Under 17’s and Open Divisions. We wish all clubs the best of luck on the day. Play kicks off from 8am at the Gippsland Regional Sports Complex in Sale.

Briagolong Film Festival 2016 is the ideal mix of old and new. For the old: you get the same hearty, warm country welcome in a heritage hall, complete with open fires, wines available and a light supper with the opening night film.And for the new, well, we have an amazing 2016 line-up to entertain everyone. Avon Ridge Vineyard Sunday Sippers

Avon Ridge Vineyard - Maffra-Stratford Road Maffra This Queens Birthday Weekend, celebrate in style with live music, great food and great friends. Avon Ridge Vineyard will be hosting their months Sunday Sippers, live music kicking off from 1pm through to 5pm. A special Sunday Sippers menu and platters will be available on the day. The Addams Family Busted Production

The Regent Theatre - Commercial Rd Yarram
The 2016 Annual Production starring the ever so talented Mirridong All Stars will be The Addams Family Busted. Directed and Produced by Darren McCubbin. Purchase tickets at the door Adults $10, Concession $5 and Under 12’s Free. These productions provide opportunities for adults with a disability to make choices, achieve goals and gain independence.
Trivia and Live Music Fundraiser

Maffra Memorial Hall - Foster St Maffra
The night will go towards raising funds for the Maffra Fire Brigade. Tickets available by calling Justin on 0409 794 208 at $10 per person. BYO Drinks, Nibbles and spare coins! The event will feature live music by local musician Justin Rebecci. Funds raised will assist in the purchasing of new equipment and to update one of their current firefighting vehicles.
