Vibrant Communities
Community Satisfaction Survey 2021 Results
Council endorsed the 2021 Community Satisfaction Survey results and moved to publish the results to the Baw Baw Shire Council website:
Placemaking Towns for the 2021/22 Placemaking Program
Council endorsed the townships of Nilma North, Tanjil Bren and Tetoora Road for Council's 2021/22 Placemaking Program.
Planning Scheme Amendment C139 (PEGZ & PPF Translation Amendment) - Planning Panel recommendations
Council adopted the Planning Scheme Amendment C139.
Precinct Structure Plan Sporting Reserves - Draft Concept Masterplans
- Council noted the Draft Concept Masterplans for the sporting reserves identified as part of the Drouin and Warragul Precinct Structure Plans and have moved to undertake public consultation.
- Community Consultation will commence Thursday 26 August 2021 - Thursday 7 October 2021.
- Council also noted further investigation and work is required to present options for a Draft Concept Masterplan for the proposed Spring Creek sporting reserve in Warragul.
Warragul and Drouin Precinct Structure Plans Review
- Councillors moved an amended recommendation that Council:
- Adopt the Warragul and Drouin Precinct Structure Plans Review 2021 (WDPSP)
- Note the submissions received for the WDPSP Review 2021.
Note that the implementation of the WDPSP Review 2021 will provide several further opportunities for community and stakeholder input on key issues.
Safe and Sustainable Environments
Tree Inspection Policy and Guidelines
Council endorsed the proposed Tree Inspection Policy and noted the proposed Tree Inspection Guidelines that support the implementation of the policy.
Organisational Excellence
Update on Municipal Early Years Plan 2019-2023
Councillors moved an amended recommendation that Council note the report on the implementation of Council's Municipal Early Years Plan in response to the General Business Motion tabled at the Council Meeting on Wednesday 14 July 2021. In line with COVID-19 restrictions across Victoria, Council will be limiting attendance of its Council meetings.
Continuing with the Wednesday 8 September 2021 Council Meeting:
- Only essential officers and Councillors will attend Council Meetings
- There will be no public access/gallery attendance at Council Meetings
Meetings will remain available to the public via live stream, and community submissions can be made in writing. The agenda for the next meeting will be available online the Friday prior to the meeting.
