Community meeting for Port Albert – 9 AugustBy Wellington Shire Council - 29th July 2005 - Back to News Residents of Port Albert and the surrounding area are invited to have their say on council services and issues affecting them when Councillors and senior officers from Wellington Shire Council host their next community meeting at Port Albert on Tuesday 9 August.
The informal meeting starts at 7.00pm and is being held at the Port Albert Yacht Club – providing an ideal opportunity to ask questions and raise any issues of interest or concern to the local community.
Councillors and senior officers visit a number of different localities in Wellington as part of an ongoing process of consultation and communication with everyone who lives in the shire.

After Port Albert, the next community meeting is in Loch Sport on 13 December, following the local council elections.
