FReeZA Youth Event Wellington Shire Council is pleased to announce US hip hop artist Nox as the headline act of its latest FreeZA event to be held in Sale later this month. By Wellington Shire Council - 31st August 2004 - Back to News The live show - featuring Nox, Oxygen and local Battle of the Bands winners Helix and Sadiva Project as its line-up - will take place on Friday September 17 at the Sale Memorial Hall, from 7.30pm-11.30pm.
This alcohol and drug-free event is brought to Wellington through a partnership between the council, FreeZA, Streets of Harmony and the State Government.
Tickets are $8 pre-sale or $10 at the door. Pre-sale tickets are available at Leading Edge Music in Sale (5144 4063), Heyfield Community Resource Centre (5148 2100), Rosedale Newsagency (5199 2221), Maffra Fusion Video (5147 1826) and Stratford Authorised Newsagency (5145 6225).
Said Wellington’s Mayor Jeff Amos: "Having an international act of this calibre in Wellington is a great bonus for our youth. The council is proud to support these initiatives which offer the provision of safe and fun recreation activities."
Buses will run from Heyfield, Maffra, Stratford and Rosedale at a cost of $2. Bus times and further information is available at ticket outlets or by telephoning Wellington Shire’s Youth Development Officer David Roberts on 1300 366 244.
