Council’s Small Business Development Officer, Margaret Murray said the free workshop is funded by the State Government’s Business Continuity Program – Drought Recovery.

"The workshop will be held at the Wonthaggi Golf Course, Nicholson Street from 6 til 9.30pm on Monday July 9," said Ms Murray

"Alan Marion of Trainex Systems will run the sessions and will look at the ways to achieve your goals in business.

"There is a focus on how to grow your business despite adverse conditions," said Ms Murray.

"A plan is put together for every business that attends."

For the past two years, Trainex Systems have run workshops in Victorian country towns to assist local businesses.

"At the workshop, Alan will explain some of the sales and planning techniques he used to get ‘The Original Juice Company’ from zero sales to $45million in six years without spending big dollars on marketing," explained Ms Murray.

"Previous workshops have been very popular with our local businesses, so I urge people to take advantage of this opportunity."
