Area-7 to headline in Sale

Wellington Shire Council is gearing up for Outta Limits – a new youth event which provides rewards to local musicians – to be held on 16 & 17 July at the Sale Memorial Hall.

On 16 July there will be a concert headlined by top Australian punk/ska band, Area-7 supports acts include popular Australian band, Behind Crimson Eyes and local talent Supercede, Elsewhere and Awoken. Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets are $10 each.

Then on Sunday 17 July Wellington youth interested in learning more about the music industry are invited to attend MMF Music Business Education Seminars on Sunday 17 July at the Sale Memorial Hall from 10:30am. The first session is free and a $5 fee applies for each single session thereafter or $8 for the whole day.

Money raised from ticket sales will assist with the purchase of equipment to develop a recording studio at the Wellington Youth Space.

Outta Limits is an all-ages, drug and alcohol free event supported by Wellington Shire Council, the Wellington Youth Space, the Music Managers Forum, Metropolis Audio, PBS FM, Arts Victoria, Johnson Audio, Lamberties.
