Swimming Season Starts Early Wellington Shire Council will open swimming pools in Stratford, Heyfield and Rosedale for the summer season on Tuesday 28 November 2006. By Wellington Shire Council - 28th November 2006 - Back to News The opening dates for the swimming pools are earlier than planned.
"There is warmer weather forecast for this week so we have been working hard to open earlier than expected. The pools are ready to go and we have staff available so we will open up this week," said John Tatterson, Manager-Healthy Lifestyles for Wellington Shire Council.
Local residents will be able to indulge in the warm weather from 3pm onwards for the remainder of the week due to the predicted hot weather.
As of next week the Stratford, Heyfield and Rosedale swimming pools will revert back to their scheduled summer trading hours:

*Extended hours of operation of hot days.
Opening events will go ahead as planned over the weekend.

HEYFIELD SWIMMING POOL
