Special Events Funding AnnouncedCommunity groups share in more than $34,850 worth of cash grants By Bass Coast Shire - 14th February 2003 - Back to News Community groups from around Bass Coast Shire have shared in more than $34,850 worth of cash grants and in-kind assistance from Council as part of the annual special events funding.
"We’re fortunate to have a very vibrant community here at Bass Coast, with lots of local groups running exciting events," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council. "Providing cash grants and in-kind support is one way that Council encourages these events that benefit our community both economically and socially."
