The information sessions will provide a unique opportunity for prospective students interested in studying Certificate II Clothing Design and Production, which will be run for the first time ever at the LLINC Building by GippsTAFE.

Members of staff will be on hand to fully explain the course and where it can take you.

The class introduces beginners to the basics of sewing.

However, if you already have the basics you can talk to the facilitator to organise more advanced classes, depending on your requirements.

Topics covered in the course include the sewing machine, understanding the pattern, sewing terms, cutting, marking, current construction methods, pressing and using tools and notions.

The sessions will consist of a lecture demonstration, with workshop time and individual instruction.

Courses will run at the LLINC Building located in Henry Street in Pakenham and will be conducted on Mondays from 9.30am to 3pm.

Prospective students should contact the Warragul Campus on 5623 2740.
