Skills Development Survey

Workforce needs across Gippsland are being identified through a skills audit survey.

By Bass Coast Shire Council - 14th April 2010 - Back to News

Bass Coast Shire Council’s Economic Development Manager, Peter Francis, said all six Gippsland councils would be sending out the same survey to assist in planning for the workforce needs across Gippsland.

"We will use the survey results to help local businesses and local training providers identify and create programs specific to our local needs," explained Mr Francis.

"2,000 Bass Coast businesses have been randomly selected to complete the survey.

"The more information we can gather from the survey, the better the quality of the final report and its usefulness in the future," continued Mr Francis.

The survey results will be collated by an independent company and all personal information collected will be kept strictly confidential.

If you would like to participate in the survey, discuss the survey or receive a copy of the final report when it is available please contact Roslyn Jenzen on 1300 BCOAST (226 278) or email r.jenzen@basscoast.vic.gov.au.
