Adventurous life celebrated
Margaret was born on August 26, 1924, in London. The mother of two moved to South Australia in 1969, where she spent most of her life before relocating to Sale with her daughter Rona. Although she now enjoys a quieter lifestyle, Margaret has lived a life filled with adventure and excitement.
Once a thrill-seeker, she embraced activities such as hot air ballooning, hang gliding, riding Harley-Davidsons, and travelling extensively around the world. "Margaret's spirit of adventure and zest for life are truly inspiring. I wish her good health, great company, and plenty of her favourite dessert - ice cream - to celebrate this special occasion," Mr Chester said.
Mr Chester said the Gippsland community could take great pride in celebrating residents who have contributed so much over their lifetime. "Margaret has lived through enormous changes in the world and has a wealth of experiences to share. It's important we take the time to honour and learn from those in our community who have seen and achieved so much," he said.
